Q: Is there anything I cannot pack?
A: Federal and state legislation govern the transportation of goods deemed dangerous.
The following items cannot be packed or shipped via Siracusa Moving & Storage’s moving services:
Explosives and flammable goods such as gasoline, paints, chemistry sets, matches, fireworks, ammunition, lighter fluid, etc.
Q: Can you move my pets?
A: No. Please contact the appropriate services to ship your pets safely.
Q: How are qoutes estimated and are they binding?
A: Quotes are non-binding and are an estimated cost of service. Two service plans exist for determining a quote: In-state moves or moves traveling greater than 45 to 50 miles.
In-state quotation is usually based on an hourly basis with a rate determined on how many men and equipment will be needed. Please note: a 4, 6 or 8 hour minimum does apply depending upon the time of year. The final price is based on actual hours.
For moves traveling greater than 45 to 50 miles, price of the move can be determined by weight and actual distance traveled.
